Property intake + mapping

Map your woods. Start with the land.

Locate the property, draw one or more woodland boundaries on aerial imagery, calculate acreage, and organize the information a forester needs to begin reviewing the property.

Step 3 · Prepare for review

Turn the map into a forestry intake packet.

Your review packet contains the landowner questionnaire, acreage summary, map center, and GeoJSON geometry. Export it for your records or send it directly to ForestMGMT for forester review.

Your work autosaves locally. Nothing is transmitted until you press Send for Forester Review.
Privacy + map accuracy

What this mapper is — and is not.

The boundary is an owner-drawn planning feature. It can be useful for acreage estimates, imagery review, stand discussion, and preliminary forest-management planning, but it is not a legal boundary survey. Property geometry and questionnaire answers are stored in the browser unless the user deliberately exports or submits them. When the user presses Send for Forester Review, the intake is transmitted through Formspree to ForestMGMT for the requested review.

Privacy note: property boundaries can be sensitive. ForestMGMT should use submitted geometry and contact information only for the requested forestry review unless the landowner separately agrees to another use.
